<description>You know I was having a really hard time getting indexed by Google and other sites, and I was having trouble with sites like Technorati picking up my pings and feed for nearly a year before I solved the problem. Not sure if this was 100% responsible, but neither my feed nor my site was validating properly (for a whole bunch of archane reasons. After slogging through testing with a feed validator and fixing dumb-ass plugins and other problems I had with my feed/wordpress, and then doing the same for the webpages on my site (XHTML validation), within a week Technorati was indexing my feed and picking up my pings, and google started indexing my site and returning pages when searched.

Anyway, moral of the story: make sure your shit validates!

BTW, neither your feed nor your web pages validate as of right now. Hours of joy and debugging now await you -- enjoy!</description>
