I think this is another &lt;a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/07/23/cowon-iaudio-7-review-roundup/" rel="nofollow"&gt;&lt;b&gt;classic example&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; of what one of my main points was. Here's a totally killer new audio device that won't play AAC files. So, if you're a big user of iTunes and AAC, you simply can't use one of these sweet new devices even if you wanted to, which is LAME. You will however note that it not only plays MP3s, it also plays OGG, and more importantly for the audiophiles out there, it even supports lossless FLAC out-of-the-box -- try doing that with your ipod, LOL! All very good reasons to keep ripping your own sources from CD, even if it is so called "DRM-Free" (cause it sure isn't format-free yet).
