Last night at the Giant’s game, as the National Anthem began some unidentified people urfurled a banner about 14 feet long and 5 feet high that simply said IMPEACH. They were up in the walkway above the bleachers so the majority of the fans could have seen it, though it would have been easy enough to miss.
Within a minute, stadium people were on the scene and the banner was taken down.
I took a picture on my camera phone which isn’t great, but good enough.
A beautiful sight, even if it was only up for a little while. Here’s the transcript of a conference call with Speaker Pelosi, where she was asked very direct questions about impeachment. By blogger Mike Stark, of course, not by a “journalist”

Was the banner really taken down? Are banners allowed at American baseball games?
Wish it would have been a Ron Paul 4 President banner, Or even a http://www.restoretherepublic.com, or http://www.infowars.com banner… Some helpful info but, at least in some small doses, the majority is being heard.

I was at the game and clearly saw the banner..I was very happy to finally see a group of people who were disgusted with our current regime while making good use of a grand stage (A major league baseball game) to voice their opinions. I hope people are inspired by these actions and take notice..
hey thanks for putting this up - i am the tiny hot pink dot over the E in IMPEACH- we are a local CODEPINK group.
the next day i found out from my brother (an ACLU attorney for 13 years) that in fact - banners in stadiums are completely up to the “owners” of the stadium (not considered to be a public forum)- i guess in this case AT&T et al - he thinks we probably would have been less tolerated outside of San Francisco - so we need to maximize our exposure here - especially while we have the All Star game.
