Old old friend David Boyer just published his second book, Bachelor Party Confidential.

Here’s an excerpt from a ‘dancer’:

Basically, you’re chasing the money; you negotiate the fee, and part of it is gauging, “How much do these people have?” If you overshoot, you lose the whole deal. You know, sixty bucks, one-hundred bucks, 150 bucks, whatever it was—and I would set a certain time limit, one song. If they want another song, “Okay, another eighty bucks.”

I highly recommend bringing a copy of the book to the next bachelor party you go to and just leave it out for all to read. Can make it to the party, send the book. Got a dad who wants to know how the kids do it these days? Wanna prove to your gf that things didn’t get nearly as crazy as they could have? Get the book. It’s a hoot.
