Ok Dork, You Go Run That Marathon

I’ve got an internet friend - we’ll we’re in-person friends but we communicate most via each other’s web presences.

He ran a marathon last weekend. A couple days prior to the run, he posted a blog entry saying “let’s run the marathon together,” and said if you comment on this entry I’ll write your name on the shirt I’m going to run in.

I like to think that somehow, from the comfort of my own couch sleeping off a late night after a fun rock show I was able to keep him going and finish that race. I really do like to think that. It gives me the warm fuzzies. Makes me feel like I really accomplished something important. Something not just anyone could do. I had to read that entry AND write a comment. I had to make great things happen. In fact I can feel that great things are going to start happening now…..

Seriously, congrats Noah. Well run indeed.

Thanks Ted. There was a point where I was really tired (or nor cal version “hella” tired) and I was going to walk but someone made that comment about the shirt and I didn’t want to let you guys down. Thanks;)

We need to hang out more off-line. I will be moving to the city in May so it should be a bit easier.
