Principal Dick Vernon, 80s Bad Guy
Last night I went to a themed birthday party where everyone came dressed as an 80’s villain. It was pretty funny. I was thinking about being Ortho from Bettlejuice, but that guy was too sharp for my closet. So I went as Richard Vernon, the Principal of Shermer High School, home to The Breakfast Club.
I recall him being a jerk, but watching the movie again I realized what an arrogant hard-ass prick he was. So here’s a little walk down memory lane of the lows and lowers of a 80s bad guy, Dick Vernon.
But he was really a boob:
