Newest Favoritest Band
Sydney’s Wolfmother is far and away the band I’m listening to most at the moment. Every last song on their eponymous 2005 album is just as good as the others. It Rocks the *!#%@ Out!
Above is the video for their song, Mind’s Eye. Sharp eyes will recognize the back drop as L.A.’s Vasquez Rocks, the ‘planet’ Captain Kirk is stranded on and has to defeat the Gorn by concocting gun powder and fabricating a rock bazooka. You remember that one … yeah, that was a good one.
It’s really weird how Wolfmother comes along just as I’m appreciating the Metal genre for the first time. Wolfmother aren’t Metal, but they’re not not Black Sabbath either ;>
