I feel for this guy as he basically did nothing wrong and now he's doing time with Greg Anderson. I guess two key variables I'd like to know here are: 1) did the Feds step in themselves, or did the city call them in? (seems the city should be able to handle this on it's own, but we all know how effective the SF govt is) and 2) why isn't the ACLU fighting for Josh here? Good points, Ted. If I remember correctly, this was because of a G8 conference being held thousands of miles away (certainly not in the Mission). Give the cops the footage so those a-holes can pay their dues. Let the ACLU and the fed lawyers deal with the rest. I'm more worried about anarchists burning my car than I am about the feds snooping thru my stuff.
