josh wolf is a cool dude who understands his rights

vandalism is a righteous act of spreading the truth and i don't care if you people don't care about the future of the world but some of us do. and just to let you know america is part of the world.

before you reply please do research on what anarchy means because sadly a lot of people don't really know what it means and if you think you do you don't

try looking at things from all angles so you don't end up sounding like an ass

Good points, Ted. I feel for this guy as he basically did nothing wrong and now he's doing time with Greg Anderson.

I guess two key variables I'd like to know here are: 1) did the Feds step in themselves, or did the city call them in? (seems the city should be able to handle this on it's own, but we all know how effective the SF govt is) and 2) why isn't the ACLU fighting for Josh here?

I hear ya Cody. Vandalists are dirtbags.

The issue I'm looking at is that the Feds are weilding some very big hammers over dubious claims of jursidiction. Treating vandalists as terrorists, and claiming authority in what should be a state jurisdiction.

"They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security"

Benjamin Franklin

Anyway, the word from those that know is that there is no footage regarding the trashed car or those who did it. Apparently. Josh offered to show the tape to the judge who refused. But that is all hearsay.

Ted, here is my "thinking about it too much makes my head hurt" counterpoint : Josh Wolf is protecting a bunch of hooligans who trashed the Mission, set a cop car on fire, and injured a police officer. If I remember correctly, this was because of a G8 conference being held thousands of miles away (certainly not in the Mission). Give the cops the footage so those a-holes can pay their dues. Let the ACLU and the fed lawyers deal with the rest.

I'm more worried about anarchists burning my car than I am about the feds snooping thru my stuff.
