Have you seen Shooting War yet, the new graphic novel serialized at SMITH? Shooting War, written by Anthony Lappé and drawn by Dan Goldman, is the story of a vlogger set in the year 2014. The Iraqi Civil War is still ongoing and John McCain is President, suicide bombers have found the U.S. and video cameras, streaming straight to the web, capture it all. The story and animation, are edgy, (sur)realist, and gripping. It’s pretty rad.

The first two chapters are now live and I’m hooked. Congrats to coup plotter Larry Smith for getting this on SMITH and Tim Barkow for designing a nice fast viewing interface. I also really dig how they added comment features and keep a blog.
