Corporate Internets Rule!

I’ve been remiss in my reporting from - stealing the tagline of one of my interviewers - “deep within the bubble,” and as you can see I’m considered a very important person (outside bars and other society parties.) The Web Industry has again roared back to life round here with examples of life changing software and laughable vaporware alike. There is astounding work being done by people who do it just for a Wikipedia entry, and near-reprehensible work being proposed by greedheads using terms like built to flip, monetizing the long tail, vertical markets and flickerization. In fact I wrote a helpful business reminder to dumb asses who mistake the long tail for true unmined niches over at the snark-will-save-me Supr.c.ilio.us blog.
At the Super Silliest launch party I even deployed my tongue-in-snark subversion strategies by trotting out my protest shirt from the bubble1.0 days and encouraging those who think the web and personal publishing is a right to remember it’s a privlegde that many still do not have any one of the thing many of us feel dearest and most securing as we have no choice but to continue living into the future. Watch the sillio.us movie made by GETV’s Irina Slutsky and Eddie Codel.
