Dave Winer is one of the most revered bloggers around. He’s been blogging the same format since April 1997 He wrote Radioland - among other notable software - one of the first blogging tools which still to this day has unique features, like an easily changeable title image slot that always appears behind the site title. The higher up the web geek ladder you go the more respect and deference this software pioneer gets.

Well, as of 8/25/05, 7:25pm PST, I am part of his title photo, from a shot taken at BarCamp. (That’s me in the cap.) This was close to midnight as Jacob Appelbaum was showing us exactly how insecure the cell providers are and how one can spoof caller ID, even to a cell phone rep.

This is web emphemera that could have easily passed by without my seeing, but since I did, I’ve added a screen shot to a folder called never_delete.
