Chris Hooper and his wife Melanie hosted us for the last two days. Their employer rents then a 200 year old canal house that was a working warehouse until 1979. You can still see where the pull ropes wore deep groves into the beams.

We went to Keukenhof Gardens outside Amsterdam. There were hundreds of thousands of bulb flowers in bloom and perhaps every variety of tulip that has ever been grown. Photos.
